(ĐN)- In recent years, localities within the Southwestern Economic Region, including Long Khanh City and the districts of Long Thanh, Nhon Trach, Trang Bom, Thong Nhat, and Vinh Cuu, have paid increasing attention to planning high-tech agricultural zones.
As a result, the agricultural sector and local authorities have jointly identified and planned eight high-tech agricultural production zones, covering a total area of 6,500 hectares. These zones serve as a crucial foundation for attracting investment and allocating public capital to gradually improve infrastructure in each production area.
Each locality is leveraging its own strengths to draw in investment. For example, Nhon Trach District is focusing on high-tech shrimp farming; Long Khanh City and Long Thanh District are promoting urban agriculture models; while Thong Nhat District is developing livestock farming through large-scale farms.
