Representatives highlighted the importance of training in 5S and workplace safety, skills highly valued by Japanese employers. The program, supported by JICA and Dong Nai authorities, has helped thousands of students connect with real-world practices and job prospects.

Japan remains Dong Nai’s second-largest foreign investor, with 285 active projects totaling nearly USD 6 billion. In the first half of 2025 alone, three new Japanese firms invested over USD 22.5 million in the province’s industrial zones.

Local leaders emphasized aligning academic training with industry needs to support Dong Nai’s goal of double-digit economic growth. The province hopes Japanese firms will continue partnering with universities to nurture a high-quality workforce.
