(ĐN)- After merging with Binh Phuoc province, Dong Nai is set to become Vietnam’s leading livestock hub, boasting over 4.1 million pigs and 35.9 million poultry.
Both provinces are advancing high-tech, large-scale farming, with Dong Nai already producing over 91,000 tons of meat and nearly 500 million eggs in the first five months of 2025. Around 90% of its livestock is raised on industrial farms using automated systems and proper waste treatment.

Livestock accounts for over 61% of Dong Nai’s agricultural output. The province aims to attract global-standard investment in meat processing and slaughterhouse facilities.
Several major companies, including Koyu & Unitek, are expanding export-oriented poultry production, while 40 animal feed factories—many using world-class technology—supply domestic and export markets.
Binh Phuoc, with its land availability and growing infrastructure, is also drawing major agribusiness investment, such as a 170,000-ton poultry processing complex in Becamex industrial park and a feed factory by Japfa Comfeed Vietnam.
