Dong Nai targets to disburse over VND6 tril

(ĐN)- Dong Nai targets to disburse over VND 6 trillion to rank among the top 10 provinces nationwide in public investment disbursement by the end of June, reaching 55% of its 2025 plan.

As of June 4, only VND 2.6 trillion had been disbursed, mainly for ongoing key projects. New projects are still in the design and land clearance stages, causing slow disbursement.

Despite launching a 45-day acceleration campaign on May 16, progress remains limited. Out of 21 province-funded projects scheduled to start before June 30, only 6 have broken ground. At the district level, just 19 out of 44 projects have begun.

Deputy Chairman Ho Van Ha stressed that disbursement must now be calculated in hours, not days. He urged real action from all stakeholders, not just more directives. Agencies must expedite procedures, monitor construction sites closely, and replace contractors that fail to meet deadlines.
