Dong Nai collects over 53% of its annual state budget target

(ĐN)- In Jan-May, Dong Nai collected over 53% of its annual state budget target. This strong performance was driven by proactive tax and customs authorities who enhanced collection efforts and implemented new policies.

Domestic revenue reached VND 23.3 trillion (58% of the plan), up 26% year-on-year, while import-export tax revenue exceeded VND 8.4 trillion. Key contributors included manufacturing growth in food processing, tobacco, and leather, as well as increased taxes from airport and real estate projects.

The province aims to exceed its 2025 revenue target of VND 68.5 trillion. To support this, local authorities have cut administrative processing times, postponed inspections for compliant businesses, and extended customs services to weekends and holidays. Dong Nai continues to seek tax policy reforms and encourage businesses to file taxes locally to ensure sustained economic growth and strong budget performance.
