Bad debts account for 1.81% of total loans in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- As of the end of May 2025, non-performing loans (NPLs) made up approximately 1.81% of total outstanding credit in Dong Nai, according to the State Bank of Vietnam’s Region 12.

Authorities will continue directing credit institutions to actively implement measures in line with national guidelines, including debt recovery, use of provisions, asset liquidation, and debt sales.

Efforts also include tighter control of consumer lending, regulated stock investment loans, and credit restructuring toward productive sectors to limit new bad debt risks and improve overall loan quality.
