Over 1,300 new enterprises established in 4 months

(ĐN)- According to the Dong Nai Statistics Office, in the first 4 months of this year, enterprises injected nearly VND 33 trillion into the economy. Of this, over 1,300 new businesses were established with a total registered capital of more than VND 11.3 trillion, an increase of nearly 28%. Additionally, there were 330 instances of businesses registering to increase their capital by over VND 11.6 trillion, a decrease of 23.7% compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, 555 business branches, offices, and representative offices were registered to operate in the province—up 20.6% from the same period in 2024.

On the other hand, 211 enterprises dissolved—up 34.3% year-on-year—and 268 branches, business locations, and representative offices ceased operations. Notably, around 1,300 enterprises suspended operations, an increase of 23.6%. The main reasons for dissolution, closure, and suspension were ineffective business operations. These enterprises were mainly small and medium-sized, belonging to the private economic sector.
