US becomes Dong Nai's largest export market

(ĐN)- In Jan-March, Dong Nai-based enterprises exported more than $1.9 billion worth of goods to the US, making up over 32% of the province's total export turnover. The US is now Dong Nai's largest export market.

In the first three months of this year, Dong Nai spent up to around $232 million importing US goods, accounting for some 5.5% of the province's total import turnover. Accordingly, the United States has become the province's fourth-largest import market, following China, South Korea, and Japan.

According to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, Dong Nai mainly imported cotton from the US for fiber and fabric production, plastics, chemicals, machinery and equipment, corn, and raw materials for animal feed production.
