Dong Nai’s first green industrial cluster to break ground on August

(ĐN)- Dong Nai plans to break ground on its first green industrial cluster in Thong Nhat district on August. Quang Trung industrial cluster is one of the province’s key infrastructure projects designed with eco-friendly and sustainable standards, contributing to Vietnam’s net-zero target by 2050.

Developed by Dai Dung Mechanical Construction and Trading J.S Co, the 80-hectare cluster will focus on agricultural processing and mechanical engineering for agricultural production. To date, over 30 hectares have been cleared; the investor has requested local authorities to allocate the remaining land and adjust investment capital to reflect current costs.

Designed as a green, eco-industrial cluster, the project will incorporate rooftop solar panels, wastewater recycling systems, and promote industrial symbiosis. It also aims to relocate production facilities out of residential areas, reducing pollution, creating jobs, and supporting the local economy.

Provincial authorities have instructed relevant departments to expedite administrative procedures, update the planning, and facilitate land allocation to keep the project on schedule.
