Retail gas prices slightly increase since early February 2025

Since the beginning of February 2025, the retail gas price in the domestic market has risen by about 3,000 VND per 12kg cylinder compared to January 2025.

Currently, the prices of popular gas types range from 468,000 to 491,000 VND per 12kg cylinder, depending on the brand. According to many experts, the reason for the increase in domestic retail gas prices this month is due to global suppliers announcing an average fuel price of 630 USD per ton, an increase of 10 USD per ton compared to January 2025.

Meanwhile, in the adjustment of retail gasoline and oil prices right after the Tet holiday by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the prices of various gasoline and oil types have decreased by 140 to 948 VND per liter or kilogram.
