Fuel prices decline slightly, live pig prices increase

In the past week (from February 3 to 7), fuel prices experienced slight decreeases.

Specifically, RON 95 gasoline decreased by 74 VND/liter, with a maximum retail price of 20,928 VND/liter. Similarly, the prices of various oils also decreased. Diesel oil fell by 192 VND/liter, to 19,054 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 25 VND/liter, to 19,414 VND/liter. Mazut oil dropped by 148 VND/kg, to 17,354 VND/kg. Only E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by 51 VND/liter, reaching 20,442 VND/liter.

Additionally, since the beginning of February 2025, the retail price of gas in the country has increased by about 3,000 VND per 12kg cylinder compared to the previous month. Currently, the prices of common types of gas range from 468,000 to 491,000 VND per 12kg cylinder, depending on the brand.

According to the Dong Nai Market Management Department, in the past week, the price of live pigs in the Bien Hoa - Vinh Cuu area increased by 4,000 VND/kg compared to the previous week, reaching 72,000 VND/kg. In first-class markets in the province such as Bien Hoa, Long Khanh, Long Thanh, and Phuong Lam (Tan Phu district), pork belly prices range from 120,000 to 145,000 VND/kg, beef from 280,000 to 320,000 VND/kg, red tilapia from 65,000 to 75,000 VND/kg, grade I shrimp from 180,000 to 250,000 VND/kg, and various types of chicken and duck eggs (grade I) from 25,000 to 35,000 VND per dozen...
