Developing retail market in sustainable way

Over the past time, retail and service activities in Dong Nai province have achieved many positive results, with revenue and customer numbers maintaining a fairly high and stable growth rate.

In the coming time, the province will continue to strive to develop the retail market in a sustainable direction, promote digital transformation, and develop modern retail models, green economy models, and circular economy models.

According to the Dong Nai Statistics Bureau, in 2024, retail revenue in the province is expected to reach over 213.2 trillion VND, an increase of nearly 11.6% compared to 2023. In 2024, retail activities will continue their growth momentum thanks to increased domestic consumption, along with the province's trade promotion programs and the development of e-commerce, thus significantly boosting retail sales of goods.

In particular, the province is also actively developing e-commerce and supporting local businesses to expand their markets. Additionally, with the economic recovery and the development of production and business, the employment and income of workers have improved, contributing to an increase in retail sales of goods over the past year.
