(ĐN)- The US was the largest importer of Dong Nai in the first 6 months of 2022 with a turnover of over US$4.2 billion, a year-on-year surge of 18 percent, according to the Department of Industry and Trade.
Dong Nai’s exports to the US accounts for 32 percent of the province’s total exports to countries and territories worldwide.
The growth in export value was mainly contributed by footwear, textile and garment, wooden products, iron and steel products, coffee, machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts.
Experts said the US’s demand for high-quality Vietnamese products has been increasing due to changes in the global supply chain, and US firms sees Vietnam as a potential, safe investment destination post-pandemic.
