Imports from China shoot up in Q1

(ĐN)- In Jan-March, Dong Nai spent around US$983 million importing machinery, equipment, tools, computers, electronic products, and their parts, iron and steel, chemicals and fabric from China, Department of Industrial and Trade reported.

 

(ĐN)- In Jan-March, Dong Nai spent around US$983 million importing machinery, equipment, tools, computers, electronic products, and their parts, iron and steel, chemicals and fabric from China, a year-on-year increase of nearly 38 percent, Department of Industrial and Trade reported.

Accordingly, imports from China accounted for 24% of the province’s total imports.

China remained the largest supplier of goods to the province in this period as Dong Nai ran a trade deficit of US$396 million with the neighboring country.
