The plants include one of Hung Nghiep Formosa Company in Nhon Trach district, one of Vedan Vietnam Company in Long Thanh district. The other is Nhon Trach thermoelectricity plant, which is invested by PV Power.
In addition, the province is also home to Tri An hydroelectricity plant, which generates electricity for developing local socio-economic development and for national power grid, with a combine generation capacity of nearly 2,000 MW.
