Export turnover of the locality in Feb hit nearly US$1.6 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of over 17 percent, while the province spent more than US$1.1 billion on imports.
The foreign investment sector is the biggest contributor to the trade surplus with its export turnover reaching US$1.2 billion this month. The province's major export products included computers, electronic products, footwear, machineries and components, wooden products.
In the first two months of this year, Dong Nai recorded a trade surplus of around US$984 million.
