(ĐN)- There have been 650 enterprises in Dong Nai investing in supporting industries so far, according to Department of Industry and Trade.
Of them, 273 projects are in the support industry for mechanical engineering and electronics, accounting for around 42 percent of the total. Others are in the fields of textile and garment, footwear, electronics, etc.
Among support industry projects, 510 have been invested by foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises. The province’s support industries recorded an annual export turnover of more than US$10 billion, accounting for 55 percent of total export revenue.
In the recent years, the number of enterprises investing in supporting industries has increased rapidly, helping promote domestic production and ease the imports of spare parts.
