(ĐN) – A delegation from Japanese Hitachi Zosen Corp has recently visited Dong Nai, looking for cooperation and investment opportunities in waste-to-energy projects using advanced technology in the province.

Addressing at the working session, Chairman said that waste treatment projects with modern technologies are being encouraged in the province to cut the volume of waste being buried. Accordingly, Dong Nai is now calling for investment in waste-to-energy projects using advanced technology to ease mounting waste treatment pressure.
Director Yoshiharu Suzuki of Ha Noi branch of Japanese Hitachi Zosen Corp said the corp was established 140 years ago and now have 957 waste treatment plants over the world. The Corp invested a waste treatment plant in Ha Noi in 2017.
Dong Nai discharges more than 1,800 tons of garbage a day which is now processed by local enterprises.
