(ĐN)- The index of industrial production (IIP) in Dong Nai province went up more than 6.4 percent in July year-on-year, reported the provincial People’s Committee.
The seven-month figure only rose by 5.3 percent annually due to the shortage of input materials imported from China amid COVID-19 pandemic.
Accordingly, mining sector grew by 6.7 percent, manufacturing and processing sector expanded by 5.8 percent, while water supply and waste treatment sector up 6.6 percent.
In addition, other industrial products also lose production value due to an extended epidemic including textiles and garment, footwear, etc.
