In April only, the province’s rubber exports reached around US$2.6 million, down nearly 12 percent compared to the previous month.

In the first four months of this year, Vietnam earned US$402 million from exporting 283,000 tonnes of rubber, decreasing 27.5 percent in value and 31.7 percent in volume. China continued to be country’s top export market in the period.

It is forecast that rubber exports will be sluggish in the coming months due to the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.
