Petrol prices increase sharply

(ĐN)- The retail prices of petrol and oil rose at 6pm on Tuesday following a decision made by the ministries of Finance, and Industry and Trade.

Accordingly, bio-fuel E5 RON 92 went up VND666 to VND19,780 per liter, and RON95 increased by VND923 to reach VND21,066.

The prices of diesel and kerosene went up by VND438 and VND424 to VND16,638 and VND15,786 per litre, respectively. Meanwhile, Mazut will be sold at no more than VND14,919, up VND829 per kg.

The increase was attributed to the growing global prices of the products in accordance with local regulations.

This is was the first increase since July. The two ministries review fuel prices every 15 days to adjust domestic prices in accordance with fluctuations in the global market.
