Of the figure, US$729 million was invested in 78 new projects and nearly US$639.5 million was pledged to 84 existing projects.
Among the total 45 countries and territories investing in the province, Republic of Korea was the largest investor, followed by China and Japan.
The nine-month foreign direct investment (FDI) disbursement in the province was estimated at US$900 million percent, higher than the figure from a year ago.
Dong Nai ranks fourth in FDI attraction in Jan-Sept. Hanoi was the largest FDI recipient during the period, while Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong came second and third respectively
