(ĐN)- Dong Nai earned nearly US$157 million from exports of wood and wooden products in January of this year, marking an increase of nearly 36 percent compared with the same period last year.
Currently, the province’s wooden products are being exported to more than 60 countries around the world. The US, Japan, the EU, China and the Republic of Korea (RoK) remain the largest importers of the province’s forestry goods.
The Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) took effect in January, 2019. It will help Vietnam in general and Dong Nai in particular expand its export markets, attract more investment, promote growth and reform policies in a more transparent and open manner.
