(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s fishery sector hit production value of nearly VND2.1 trillion in 2018, a year-on-year rise of 5.5 percent. Accordingly, the sector’s fishery output last year reached more than 59,500 tonnes.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development attributed the high output to favourable weather conditions during the period.
Currently, Dong Nai has 8,100 hectares of fish farming areas. The province is focusing on the expansion of aquatic farming areas meeting VietGAP standards to ensure products maintain high quality when reaching the hands of customers.
