(ĐN) – A delegation from the Republic of Korea (RoK)'s Cheonan city led by Mr Jang Ho Young visited Dong Nai on January 17, looking for cooperation and investment opportunities in the province.
Deputy Director Nguyen Huu Nguyen of the provincial Department of Planning and Investment warmly welcomed the delegation. He said that the province has so far licensed 1,370 FDI projects with total registered investment of over US$28.5 billion. Accordingly, RoK enterprises poured US$5.8 billion into 385 projects in the province.
Nguyen hoped RoK businesses would continue their investments in Dong Nai in the fields of industry, hi-tech agriculture, service and health, etc.
Addressing at the working session, Mr Jang Ho Young expressed wishes that the two localities would boost cooperation in the fields of economy, education and training, etc.
He took the occasion to invite the Dong Nai’s representatives to visit Cheonan city in the coming time to study cooperation and investment environment.
At the same day, the delegation visited the Corporation for the Development of Dong Nai Industrial Zone (Sonadezi) and industrials parks, paid a working visit to Long Thanh district People’s Committee.
