The province shipped footwear products to more than 70 countries and territories over the world.
According to the Vietnam Leather, Footwear and Handbag Association, exports of footwear, handbags and suitcases in the country estimated at US$19.5 billion in 2018, ranking second after China.
The sector targets about US$21 billion in export turnover this year.
