The People’s Committee of HCM city will advance more than VND2,900 billion from the city’s budget for site clearance. In Dong Nai, the People’s Committee of Nhon Trach district is implementing site clearance for the route.
Under the plan, the Ring Road No.3 will run through HCM city, Dong Nai, Long An and Binh Duong provinces and has the length of over 90 kilometers. The roads will start from Ben Luc-Long Thanh Expressway in Nhon Trach district of Dong Nai province and end in Ben Luc district of Long An province.
The Cuu Long Corporation for Investment, Development and Project Management of Transportation Infrastructure suggested the project to be built under the private-public partnership (PPP) format with the Government’s support. When completed, the road will connect HCM city-Trung Luong Expressway, Highway 1 and Ben Luc-Long Thanh Expressway, which is under construction, to form a traffic network linking HCM city with neighboring provinces and 7 provinces in the Southern economic hub.
