(ĐN)- As of October-end, investors from the European Union (EU) had injected some US$2.4 billion into projects in Dong Nai, said Deputy Director Nguyen Huu Nguyen of Department of Planning and Investment.
Since the beginning of this year until now, the EU enterprises invested around US$140 million in the province.
Most of the projects are equipped with modern technology that ensures environmental protection and are mainly in the fields of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts.
The free trade agreement between Vietnam and the EU (EVFTA) is expected to create a momentum to promote investment and trade between the two sides in coming time.
