At the conference, representatives from Departments of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai and Tra Vinh provinces proposed measures to build supply chain for consuming safety fruits and vegetables, thence building trademarks for all products sold at the market.
The conference also offered a chance to help businesses and cooperatives in Dong Nai and other provinces to supply their suitable products to the market.
Also at the conference, businesses and cooperatives from Tra Vinh and An Giang provinces showcased and introduced qualified farm products which can be sold at the market.
As far as known, the first phase of Dau Giay food and farm products wholesale market was put into operation on June, 2017, covering 2 hectares with total investment of VND60 billion. So far, there has been 120 out of 216 kiosques and stalls put into use. Currently, average consumed productivity at the market is estimated at 250-300 tons of products per day, night.
