(ĐN)- Dong Nai province's pig herd has so far reached nearly 2.25 million, 110,000 pigs higher than those of 2017.
The province’s pig herd has increased within 3 years since 2013 due to the increasing high prices of live pigs in the market in recent months.
The province currently has the largest pig herd in the country. Nearly 70% of the pigs are being raised under concentrated farming model.
The province is building large breeding zones which can help farmers ensure the epidemic diseases control and prevention.
