(ĐN)- Nearly 1,420 hectares of forests of all kinds have been planted in Dong Nai to increase the ratio of forest coverage in the locality since the beginning of this year, a year-on-year increase of 8 percent.
(ĐN)- Nearly 1,420 hectares of forests of all kinds have been planted in Dong Nai to increase the ratio of forest coverage in the locality since the beginning of this year, a year-on-year increase of 8 percent.
In July alone, local units and residents planted nearly 600 hectares of forests. In the first seven months of this year, local units and residents also planted over 118,000 scattered trees.
According to Dong Nai Forest Protection Department, the province is maintaining the most forests in the South. Hundred of species of plants and animals which are listed in World and Vietnam Red Books are being preserved in natural forests in the province.
