The information was released at the meeting between authorities of HCM city and Dong Nai province on August 3 to discuss the building of the Cat Lai bridge. Accordingly, Dong Nai was agreed to be in charge of constructing this important bridge to replace the existing Cat Lai ferry station to sooner implement the project.
Under the design, Cat Lai suspended bridge will have total length of 3,782 meters with 6 lanes across the Dong Nai River that will link HCM city’s district 2 and Dong Nai province’s Nhon Trach district. The project is estimated to cost nearly VND7.2 trillion and is expected to be kicked off in 2020.
