(ĐN)- On February 14, Dong Nai Taxation Bureau held a conference to deploy tasks for 2017. Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong of the provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman Nguyen Quoc Hung of People’s Committee attended the event.
In 2016, Dong Nai provincial Taxation Department collected over VND27.5 trillion for the State budget revenue, fulfilling 103% of the whole year’s estimates and increasing 14% compared to previous year’s figure.
The sector targets to collect more than VND33.5 trillion this year, including over VND1.2 trillion from lottery.
To achieve this target, the Bureau will continue to boost modernizing taxation management, deploy measures to encourage local enterprises and individuals to declare and pay tax in full and on time and reduce lost in tax collection revenue, apply online tax refunds, etc.
At the conference, the Bureau had a pilot implementation of online tax refunds for 100 local enterprises. Accordingly, these firms will not have to travel back and forward between tax departments, helping them save time and effort as well as reducing difficulties in tax reimbursement.
On this occasion, the provincial People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to collective and two individuals for their achievements in 2016.
