Singapore was the biggest investor, accounting for nearly half of the total investment in Dong Nai, followed by the Thailand (over US$1.4 billion) and Malaysia (nearly US$480 million).
In recent years, ASEAN investors have flocked to the province to grab investment opportunities. Accordingly, the processing industry, industrial park infrastructure, model urban and residential area projects lured the majority of ASEAN investment.
