In 2016, Dofico’s turnover reported at VND6,800 billion, fulfilling 110 percent of the yearly target and contributed more than VND1,600 billion to state budget, a year-on-year increase of 16%. Its after-tax profit reached nearly VND599 billion. On the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year, the company prepared 3,000 Tet gifts totaling VND1.5 billion to policy families and poor households in the province and central region.

Sonadezi earned revenue of more than VND4,200 billion and after-tax profit of VND582 billion, contributing nearly VND400 billion to state budget.

This year, Diza attracted US$1.45 billion in FDI, 1.5 times higher than the last year’s figure. In the coming time, it will focus on mobilizing investments in technology, support industries that use high technology, and modern engineering.

The Customs Department reported an import-export turnover of over US$28 billion, US$1.3 billion higher than the previous year. The Department collected VND14,160 billion for the State budget revenue a year-on-year increase of 7 percent.
Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai highly appreciated contributions made by the sectors to the province’s socio-economic development in 2016 and hoped that the sectors will continue to take necessary measures to fulfill targets set for 2017.
