(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee on January 9 had a working session with the Republic of Korea’s (RoK) Inha University to discuss about the planning of Long Thanh International Airport.
According to professors of Inha University, around 30,000 high quality laborers will be needed for Long Thanh Airport. They also highlighted the traffic connectivity between the airport and HCM city and Dong Nai province’s industrial parks and proposed a number of measures to effectively exploit the airport and the building of a city surrounding the airport.

They advised that Long Thanh airport should be developed under an airport city model, underlining the need for transportation connectivity between Ho Chi Minh City and the airport. They also introduced the province’s leader about the development way of Incheon Airport in the RoK, which is ranked third among world best airports.
Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh highly appreciated the experience provided by the delegation, adding his wish that Inha University will continue supporting Dong Nai in studying Incheon airport model as well as the airport city model, and help the province in training personnel serving the project.
On this occasion, the delegation also visited the exhibition of Long Thant Airport designs at the provincial Museum.
