EDGE rating system aims to help save energy, water consumption, and embodied energy in building materials while reducing greenhouse gas emissions which is developed by IFC (International Finance Corporation) under World Bank for emerging markets, including Vietnam.

The rating system helps developers with green technology measures as well as to reduce their buildings’ costs. Moreover, it also helps reduce their buildings’ energy and water consumption by 20 per cent while lowering greenhouse-gas emissions. EDGE empowers builders to build sustainable architecture for high-end apartments, hotels or resorts, office buildings, hospitals or retail establishments.
