Trang Bom meets criteria for new rural areas

(ĐN)- On December 6, Dong Nai organized a meeting to recognize Trang Bom as a new-style rural area, raising the number of new developed communes and districts to 104 and 6, respectively.

(ĐN)- On December 6, Dong Nai organized a meeting to recognize Trang Bom as a new-style rural area, raising the number of new developed communes and districts to 104 and 6, respectively.

So far, 16 out of 16 communes in Trang Bom district have qualified as new rural areas. Annual average per capita income in the locality is VND45.2 million.

The district established 13 concentrated production areas where farmers earned an average over VND104 million per ha.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh praised efforts made by Trang Bom to meet criteria on markets, traffic and environment. He urged the district to complete its documents to submit to the Prime Minister for approval.
