To be built in BOT (Build - Operate - Transfer) mode, it will cost more than VNĐ 7.97 trillion (US$354.5 millions).
The highway will begin at Dau Giay in Thong Nhat District and end at National Highway No. 20 in Tan Phu District.
The construction is scheduled to finish in 2020 when it will have four lanes and a designed speed of 100-120km per hour.
It will be part of the Dau Giay – Lien Khuong Expressway which will run from Dong Nai to Lam Dong Province.
It will comprise three expressways: Dau Giay – Tan Phu, Tan Phu – Bao Loc and Bao Loc – Lien Khuong.
