(ĐN)- So far this year, Dong Nai-based commercial banks and credit organizations provided loans totaling some VND33 trillion to local rural and agricultural development projects, an increase of 83 percent from early this year, reported Dong Nai Branch of the State Bank of Vietnam.
Of the total, production loans accounted for around VND15.7 trillion, and more than VND1.84 trillion for projects to supply clean water and enhance rural environmental hygiene.
Dong Nai is now home to some 100 communes meeting all the criteria for new rural areas.
