Accordingly, the bureau handled more than 1,800 violations, which were mainly related to smuggling, selling of fake and low-quality products and food safety violations, and collected some VND7 billion in fines. Particularly, the inspection teams discovered and seized over 5,300 fake wine bottles and 1,200 packs of fake monosodium glutamate.
In the remaining months of the year, the market management agencies will continue efforts to intensify inspections of food hygiene and trade fraud.
