The biggest investors include the Turkey, the Netherlands and Swiss, who account for 82 percent of the total FDI, according to Department of Planning and Investment.
The EU investors mainly put their money into the processing and manufacturing sector, garment and textile, footwear, animal feed, veterinary medicine and support industry, etc.
In the recent years, EU nations have indicated positive sentiment on the business environment in Vietnam, with many of them planning to increase investment.
