In August alone, retail sales are valued at over VND11.5 trillion, an increase of nearly VND100 billion compared to the previous month.
Accordingly, the non-State sector accounted for nearly all of the value of retail goods and services, while fewer of the value is reported in the state-owned sector and the foreign-invested enterprises.
The trade industry showed the highest revenue, followed by service sector and the hotel-restaurant sector.
