At the working session, Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh of the provincial People’s Committee introduced the delegation to fields where the province wants to attract investment, including support and high-tech industries.
As of June-end, Japan ranked third among countries and territories running investment in the province, with 210 valid projects capitalized at nearly US$3.73 billion. Most of the Japanese businesses in Dong Nai had been operating effectively.
With the launch of Kansai Table in the locality three years ago, Japanese capital inflows to Dong Nai have soared, accounting for half of newly-licensed projects.
Mr Okuno Ryu, Head of Saitama province’s Enterprise Management Department, said that Saitama is home to 7.2 million of people and more than 12,000 enterprises with modern technologies operating on various fields. Currently, many enterprises of Saitama would like to invest into Dong Nai due to the locality's favorable investment environment.
