(ĐN)- On April 5, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee had a working session with Tan Phu district on the implementation of socio-economic development tasks and national defense in the first quarter and deploying tasks for second quarter of 2016.
At the session, Chairman suggested the district’s authorities to continue efforts to ensure security and order before, during and after the election, develop production and increase crop yields, take measures to reduce traffic accidents, promote the construction progress of Dak Lua bridge, while implementing effectively forest fire and drought prevention
In the first quarter of this year, Tan Phu district’s budget collection reached more than VND20 billion, fulfilling 31.8 percent of the estimates, increasing 22.2 percent compared to the same period last year.
So far, 5 out of 17 communes in Tan Phu district have qualified as new rural areas. The district aims to have additional four communes fulfill all the requirements this year.
