The delegation was warmly welcomed by Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee, Chairman Tran Van Tu of People’s Council, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of People’s Committee and Chairman Huynh Van Toi of Fatherland Front Committee.
Bac Ninh is now planning to attract investment with priorities on clean and hi-tech projects. Japan and South Korea are the leading foreign investors in the province. Presently, the yearly average income of local people is nearly US$5,200.
Speaking at the working session, Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong said that Dong Nai is now home to 31 industrial zones, attracting investors from more than 40 countries and territories.
