(ĐN)- Dong Nai Agro-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department has granted food hygiene and safety certificates to firms that sell pork and pork products of Dong Nai province’s origin.
Accordingly, these firms included two in Dong Nai, namely Coopmart Bien Hoa and Big C Dong Nai, and six other supermarkets in HCM city.
To be awarded the certificates, the firms have to cooperate with farmers, slaughter houses in the province to establish concentrated breeding chain and producing and slaughtering procedures are strictly monitored by Dong Nai Agro-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department.
The certified pork and pork products selling points will be attached logo which helps customers to identify easily. There are 12 pig raising farms and 2 slaughtering, processing establishments to join clean pork and pork products supply chain.
