(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai provincial Department of Industry and Trade, 24 local businesses, cooperatives and supermarkets have registered to join a program to stockpile goods for the upcoming Lunar New Year 2016 to ensured adequate supply of goods and price stability.
Essential goods to be reserved will include rice, cooking oil, sugar, chicken, pork, eggs, confectionary, etc. Under the plan, the firms will spend around VND827 billion to stockpile 650 tonnes of rice, 6 million eggs, more than 400 tonnes of pork, etc for sale during Tet.
In addition to the reserved quantity of goods, local firms will increase their goods supply to the market to avoid goods shortage.
