Hi-tech shrimp farming project to be developed in Dong Nai

The telecommunications and information technology sectors have been the leading corporate taxpayers on a list of 1,000 leading corporations, accounting for 18 per cent of total tax payments this year.

(ĐN)- The Viet Nam-Australia Seafood Company on October 13 had a working session with Dong Nai on the investment project hi-tech shrimp farming complex in Nhon Trach district’s Phuoc An commune.

Under the plan, the shrimp farming complex using advanced technology will cover 300 hectares with total investment of VND800 billion, including breed production area, area for intensive shrimp farming in poly-greenhouses and plant for processing export shrimps.

The project is expected to yield between 120 and 240 tonnes per hectare annually. Dong Nai is evaluated to have advantages in ground as well as traffic infrastructure to develop the hi-tech farming project, said the company.

Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Chanh highly appreciated the effective of the project and suggested relevant departments and sectors to offer their utmost support to deploy the project, adding that Dong Nai will create favorable conditions for the company to increase investment in the province.
