Bringing machinery into rice paper production

Rice paper making has been the tradition for generations in this commune. This rice paper is considered as a popular specialty of Dong Nai’s rural area. The main market of the rice paper is Ho Chi Minh city.

In order to preserve the traditional industry, Thao and her husband have studied and spent more than VND200 million to invest in machinery for rice paper making.

According to Thao, rice paper making machines have helped reduce 70% of the manual work and increase productivity. This has helped her meet the demand of orders from HCM city and Bien Hoa city.

The businesswoman has brought machine into making rice papers for two years and earned higher profits than before, Thao said that she invested a large amount of money into machinery with the hope to preserve the traditional industry.
